ERL ( ERL , a project by designer Eli Russell Linnetz, was born in the creative fervor of LA.
Before ERL, Linnetz, the brand's creator, was known as a photographer, having photographed Kanye West, the Kardashians and Lady Gaga. When launching ERL, Linnetz, who grew up in Venice Beach, envisioned a unisex brand that reflected the heart and soul of LA's youth.
Inspired by '90s Pixar movies, Venice Beach skaters, and the Santa Monica swim team, ERL has the same air of nostalgia as its photography. The menswear collection features T-shirts, hoodies, button-ups, shorts and accessories in bright colors and quirky textiles.
Featuring an unpretentious, rustic and simple approach to each design, ERL's slightly sentimental feel transports the wearer back to a time when everything was pure and clear.
