GALLERY DEPT.(Galerie Dept ) originates from a unisex store based in Los Angeles, California. Designer JOSUE THOMAS chose RRL as his new home after working in sales, marketing, merchandising, and design at HTC.
At the same time, I have been self-taught in photography, collage work, graphic design, DJing, etc. and have created works of art. As a lover of American casual clothing and vintage clothing, it was natural for him to create works that include an artistic quality. The works will be presented as GALLERY DEPT.
On the team is JESSE, who I also met at HTC. He is a craftsman who personally performs Distress and Repurpose in almost every step of GALLERY DEPT.'s product completion process. GALLERY DEPT. is created by JOSUE and JESSE. The unique pieces they create are commissioned by NIKE SHOP to be exhibited. Currently, he is also releasing collaborations with Chromehearts and Virgilabloh.
Their philosophy is to create and acquire something unique and different from others through collaboration, creativity, and a spirit of rebellion. It is made from that feeling.
